| How can you not be inspired by the tribal energy of Flickr's global photo gallery – it is a playground of color palettes. While I was creating a version of In The Mod that brought the website directly into Adobe® Illustrator®, I knew I had to connect the dots! That led me to the brilliant programmer Kelvin Luck – the developer of Flashr, a tool that allows Flash files to communicate with Flickr. We combined it with ITM to search and retrieve Flickr images and extract 1 - 1000s of colors into Photoshop®, Illustrator or Processing.
Using the ITM: Flickr Edition, you can Search, Select and Save the color palettes extracted from millions of images on Flickr. |

| Enter the tag word(s) – including colors – and the ITM: Flickr Edition retrieves numerous images. Often, there are so many images and potentially beautiful color palettes, we had to add the ability to scroll and page through the results. Woohoo! |

| Once you find a worthy image, selecting it magically extracts the most popular colors from the image and displays a color visualization below the image. The larger the circle, the more popular the color. Adjusting the # of Colors increases or decreases the number of the most popular colors you would like to display. Adjusting the scale simply adjusts the diameter of all circles which can improve the color visualization. |
